Fabulously located in the centre of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Minutes walk to The Grassmarket; Royal Mile, Victoria Street, (approx10 minute walk to the castle), and the wonderful bars and restaurants that are typical of Edinburgh’s original Old Town. This ‘listed building’ flat, has it’s own main door, (and is accessed directly from street), in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city.

The building in which the flat is located was built in 1700’s and has an olde worlde feel and appearance. The flat is on the ground floor and has its own railings, steps and lockable gate. The interior has a brand new kitchen which comprises comprising fridge freezer; dish-washer; washing machine; and coffee machine, in an open-plan kitchen-diner-lounge. There is a double bedroom and bathroom. At the rear of the property is a small walled yard for enjoying a morning coffee al fresco.

You can take the bus from the airport – the 100 Airlink- this will take you to the city centre/Waverley Bridge. get off at last stop which is Waverley Bridge and walk up to George IV Bridge. Walk along this street and turn down Chambers Street. Cross the road and you are on Infirmary Street.
From Train station: When you get off train at Waverley Station you can either walk up the North Bridge until you see a bar called Inn on the Mile. Take a left and walk down this street.

Parking:– I have a parking space too that guests can rent, for the duration of their stay, for a small surcharge. Please advise at time of booking whether you would like to use this space. The parking period pertains to the whole stay and is not available for partial let. More parking details are available in FAQ’s section.
Applicable to whole stay duration only. The parking space can be booked by guests only, for a surcharge of £10 per day from check in to check out.
The cost of, (City of Edinburgh), on-street parking at Infirmary St is £7.20 per hour, from Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm: Sunday 1230pm until 630 pm and this is only for a maximum of 4 hours (and that is if you are fortunate to obtain one of only eleven pay-and-display spaces.
The space not only offers guests flexibility for parking but also the convenience of not having to move the car every 4 hours. Please be, ‘fore’ advised, though, that the street on which to access the parking space, hosts a popular venue, ‘The Caves’, and as such, (particularly at busy times i.e Edinburgh festival), the space, requires skill (and patience) to access due to pedestrians, (and sometimes unloading vehicles). The parking space itself is suitable for most cars.
Pets, parties, smoking, vaping, e‑cigarettes, bicycles.
Not a good fit for children and babies due to wooden floors, sharp furniture corners and city centre noise.

Please ensure only natural body waste and toilet paper are put down the toilet.
Please be advised that the maximum occupancy is 2 guests based on 2 people sharing one bedroom.
We request our guests to please avoid placing anything hot directly onto the kitchen, or any, surfaces. Instead please use coasters and place mats provided. Similarly, if using the kitchen, please use the metal grilled rack for placing pots on (again please do not place directly onto the work surface). If using cooking facilities, please refrain from chopping food directly on the work top or table but instead use the chopping board provided. Your adherence and respect is very apprciated.
Please ensure the property is vacated by 10am. Cleaning is automatically arranged to arrive at 1015. If cleaning cannot gain access they still charge for their time. If this occurs then the charge shall be passed onto the guest.
